About the Program:

This course will provide participants with tools on managing metrics so that employees know who to turn to for knowledge, analytics, and important information within the organization. Additionally, the webinar will address navigating through meaningful movements, and the practical application of becoming a data driven department that embraces the skills represented on your team.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Cite examples financial and non-financial key performance indicators, explain why centralizing the management of these distinguishes the accounting/finance function mission critical to the organization.
  • Match activities to a specific outcome or purpose to calculate the benefit of the activity with the goal of differentiating between what actions need to consume resources like time and money, and which do not.
  • Define what “data driven” means to them, how to recognize when that fits the needs of their organization, and what they need to categorize, diagnose, and appraise the quality of data their teams produce.
