In this episode of the "How That Happened" podcast, John Allgood, Academic Director, Executive Master of Science Sport Business and Assistant Professor of Sport Business at Temple University, sits down with Aaron Ackerman to discuss his career in sport.

John began working in sport management in 1995 and quickly became an integral part of the Oklahoma sports landscape. He worked for Oklahoma City’s Triple-A baseball team, helped develop the OKC Energy FC soccer team, and taught Sport Management at the University of Oklahoma.

Throughout the episode, John shares stories from his sport management beginnings, the business side of sports, the technology and innovations that are changing the profession, and the opportunities that led to the creation of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
