HoganTaylor LLP has expanded its client accounting and advisory services (CAAS) practice in Arkansas with the addition of Corey Coston and Joe Frederick as consulting executives, further strengthening the firm’s growing advisory presence across Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.
The additions expand HoganTaylor’s established CAAS team serving clients from the firm’s offices in Fayetteville, Little Rock, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Baton Rouge. The growth reflects continued demand from businesses and organizations seeking strategic financial guidance, operational insight, and outsourced accounting leadership to support growth and navigate increasingly complex business environments.
“As demand for outsourced accounting and advisory services continues to grow, we’ve intentionally invested in building a strong regional CAAS team with experienced leaders across multiple markets,” said Aaron Ackerman, CAAS practice leader and office managing partner in Oklahoma City. “Corey and Joe each bring extensive operational and financial leadership experience that will help our clients strengthen decision-making, improve efficiency, and support long-term growth.”
Coston joins HoganTaylor’s Fayetteville office and has more than 18 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic advisory across higher education and healthcare organizations.
Most recently, Coston served as chief budget officer for the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas, where he oversaw budgeting, forecasting, payroll operations for more than 200 employees, and financial oversight of capital projects exceeding $40 million. He previously held leadership roles with Children’s Therapy Team and the University of Arkansas Honors College, where he led financial operations, process improvements, and strategic planning initiatives.
A certified public accountant, Coston earned both his bachelor’s degree in accounting and master of accountancy from the University of Arkansas.
Frederick joins HoganTaylor’s Little Rock office and brings extensive leadership experience spanning finance, operations, logistics, entrepreneurship, and business advisory.
Most recently, Frederick served as chief financial officer for LNM Services, supporting financial strategy and operations for a commercial and industrial construction company. Throughout his career, he has owned and operated multiple businesses and advised organizations on operational efficiency, financial management, payroll and HR solutions, and growth strategy.
Frederick holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master of business administration.
“What makes both Corey and Joe especially valuable is that they have firsthand experience serving in operational and financial leadership roles within organizations themselves,” Ackerman said. “They understand the real-world challenges business leaders face and bring a practical, relationship-focused approach to helping clients solve problems and move forward with confidence.”
